A couple of matters: Christopher Hitchens was never an atheist. He was an anti-theist. There is a distinction.

I was raised a presbyterian, later in life converted to Catholicism that caused me to read the bible, then the koran (English version of course) then the book of mormons and after delving deeper into organized religion, I jumped off the wagon, never to climb back on. I do not label my self anything other than a human being. No evidence of any form of god or supreme being exists. There is zero evidence of an afterlife. Zero evidence of any god of any of the 2,400 religions now in existence communicating with a human being. To quote somebody: god did not make human beings, human beings made god. What a relief it was to throw off the shackles of religion. By the way, lack of capitals on the word god, bible, mormons, etc was intentional.
