A Movement To Remove Racism From Our Language
The word racism is a pet peeve of mine as it perpetuates the myth that humans are divided by skin color.

Why do I feel so strongly about this subject even though I am a 77-year-old white man? I’m glad you asked the question. It’s very simple. I am very anal about the correct usage of language, and in particular, the English language, that being the only one I am fluent in. I am also an amateur anthropologist with emphasis on the “amateur” and after reading numerous books and papers on the unraveling of the human genome can say with 100% certainty there is only ONE human race on this planet. Therefore, one human discriminating against another human based on skin color is not “racist”. How can it be?
Science has determined absolutely and with no uncertainty that we Homo Sapiens (us humans) are the last and only RACE left on planet earth. If that is the case, how can discrimination by a person of one skin color against a person of another skin color but the same “race” be considered racist? Think about it.
It just does not make sense.
