A Simple 5 Minute Bread Recipe
Anyone who can recognize a cup of flour four times out of five and can turn on an oven can make this bread.
If you have an oven and a suitable oven container* with a lid, you can make this bread in around 5 minutes with no cooking expertise required.
Instructions are as follows:
In a mixing bowl, pour 3 cups of flour, 1.5 tablespoons of salt, 1.5 tablespoons of dry yeast and stir until the ingredients are blended. Then add two cups of warm water and mix until gooey and sticky. I add one cup of water first and then more water as needed so the dough does not become runny. Once fully mixed, cover with a lid and let it stand for around 8–10 hours. Then, remove the dough with a ladle and roll it in flour scattered on a cookie sheet.
Once the dough is covered in flour, place it in the oven container and shape as desired.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Place the container with the lid on in the oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the lid and leave the container in the oven for 10 additional minutes.
After 10 minutes, remove the oven container, not forgetting to use oven gloves, place it on the stovetop, remove the bread loaf, and place it on a rack to cool.
