Aging is not for sissies. Old but true. I am 81 this year, male, father, grandfather, great uncle and fortunate enough to have good genes. Where have the years gone is a common refrain in this age group. I'm fortunate enough to have great kids who keep me young. And chatty, smart grand-kids who keep me on my toes. I enjoy my own company and that of a select group of friends. Kids accuse me of being curmudgeonly but at this age, I've earned the right to not suffer fools gladly. Droopy skin, silver hair and mega skin blemishes aside, my doc tells me I'm good for another 100,000 miles so I may as well enjoy it. Good article.
