Democracy under threat.
Is democracy under threat? I believe it is. For reasons unfathomable to clear thinking people who believe in democracy, a very vocal and thuggish minority in Canada and the USA are not happy with all the freedoms and rights they are provided under the two country’s governments, who it should be noted, were elected by a majority of the people in free and lawful elections.
This minority group believe their rights supersedes those of the majority. To make their case for their rights, they decided to bypass plain old peaceful demonstrating (which is their right) and embarked on a course in both the USA and Canada that was purely and simply insurrection — a course of action that is NOT their right under the laws and constitutions of both countries.
On January 6th, 2021, thugs, gangsters, white supremacists, nazis and low IQ supporters of Donald Trump stormed the US senate armed with guns, clubs and anything else these lowlifes could get their hands on in a vain attempt to derail by violent means the legitimate election of Joe Biden to the US presidency.
