The human brain weighing in at billions of neurons and trillions of synapses and having gone though 7 million years of development is the current champion of all round computing power!

Artificial Intelligence with its circuitry buzzing with algorithms and binary brilliance, is the new kid on the block having just been birthed a mere 63 years ago when a computer scientist named Arthur Samuel developed a program to play checkers, the first AI program to ever learn the game independently. The first actual use of the phrase was in 1955, when John McCarthy held a workshop at Dartmouth on “artificial intelligence”.

ROUND ONE — Creativity
The human brain is a mushy marvel that has the uncanny ability to remember the lyrics to a song heard once in 1978 while simultaneously fingering a 12 string guitar while attempting to solve the daily crossword puzzle.

AI remembers everything but struggles with the concept of emotional attachment. You won’t catch Siri tearing up over an old love…
