The answer to this is question is yes — if we can all follow some very basic guidelines as simple as “treat others as you would have them treat you”. Humans need to learn to curb hate, cruelty, violence, preying on the weak and disenfranchised; need to stop vying to be the richest person in the graveyard and oppressing those less fortunate in doing so, just to name a few of many human failings. Most of all, we have to collectively develop wisdom. As quoted by Friedrich August von Hayek, “We shall not grow wiser before we learn that much that we have done has been foolish”. This foolishness includes war, murder, genocide, persecution, lust for power, hate based on skin color, marginalization of women and children, and bigotry.

A great start would be a global grassroots movement to raise children all around the world with access to the following basic services and human rights;

Love and care

Freedom from violence and war

Nutritious food and clean water

Education

Medical care

Without children, the human race would not exist. Without children, there is no future. Children are the future. When asked what is the earth’s greatest resource, many people respond with gold or oil or trees…
