Not all these 8 billion people read English. However, there are an estimated 1.6 billion people on this globe, most of them connected to the internet in some form or other, who do read English. That is the potential reading audience for a story or an article you write.

There is an old joke about winning the lottery. You have a better chance of winning the lottery if you buy a ticket.

The same can be said with writing. You have a much better chance of having a thousand or ten thousand or a million people read one of your posts if you actually write a post. If you do not write, no one is going to read you.

Simple.

Everyone on the face of this planet has something to say. Including you. Or, especially you. No one else on the face of this earth has ever seen the world as you see it.

No one has ever written a story or a blog or a post or a book as you have written it. Or are about to. No one has the point of view that you have.

Everybody has a story. Not everybody writes a story perfectly. So what? My little 3 year old granddaughter created a story and won first prize in her pre-school class. She cannot write of course but she can imagine. She imagined her story and verbalized it…
