For those of you who read my previous article on the famous or infamous DR K., aka Brendan Kavanagh, this story may be of interest. Seems the charismatic Dr. K., almost created an international incident at the famous St Pancras train station in London recently.

Read on.

The incident at the London station has stirred controversy, leading to the temporary closure and protection of the iconic Elton John piano. What began as a clash between an artist and Chinese tourists has escalated into a debate about cultural sensitivity, freedom of expression, and respect for public spaces.

The incident unfolded when boogie-woogie pianist Brendan Kavanagh, known as Dr K, shared a video capturing a confrontation with a group of flag-waving Chinese tourists.

The tourists, holding flags of the People’s Republic of China, confronted Kavanagh, demanding he cease filming them during his livestream performance. Allegations arose that Kavanagh had touched one of the women, an accusation vehemently denied by the musician.
