Good article. My wife and I already practice some of what you suggest. My 3 adult kids don't have cable and collectively agree too much valuable living time is spent on their smart phones. When they were kids, my wife and I restricted their viewing time substantially so maybe they bought that into their adult lives. Social media is a pox on society in my humble opinion, but hey, I'm an old guy.
