To many men, women are an unfathomable mystery.

I have two women in my life. My wife and my daughter. Of course, there are other women as well; friends, cousins, and women I meet in the course of business. Don’t get me wrong. I have no issues with the opposite sex. I believe in equal rights and I often wonder if the world would be a better place if it was run by women. To that end, I consider myself to be something of a feminist.

I have found through experience that my relationship with my two sons is a much easier and less volatile one than that with my daughter. Since she was a child and began learning to speak, to listen and to figure things out, I have done my best to be a good father and be a good male role model to my daughter and my sons. Keep in mind, no one is perfect and least of all me.

I have always had the highest regard for my wife and I am very fortunate to have been married to the same woman for 48 years. I am not an easy person to get along with so it says a lot about my wife that we have been together for so long.
