The human brain is an amazing organ. Seven million years ago when chimpanzees and humans diverged from a common ancestor, the early hominid brain size was a paltry 450 grams. In the ensuing millennia, it has grown to an impressive 1,400 grams or around three pounds with a slight weight difference between males and females.

Our amazing brain with its ability to think about the past, ponder on the future and multi-task has some faults. It has a penchant for seeing things that are not there, for creating belief in irrational concepts such as conspiracy theories, invisible spirits, gods and ghoulies, a flat earth and many other silly things.

Many experiments have been carried out by various groups to determine how the brain works and why some people are more susceptible to certain extreme beliefs and others not.

Then there is our day-to-day thinking. Some people are good at crossword puzzles and others are not. This is also applicable to board games, quizzes, so called IQ tests and brain teasers. Are you willing to be tested on four simple questions?
