I'm not being facetious in this response. You are not a brown person. You are a person with brown skin. All homo sapiens originated from the same place. See my post. It is white-skinned people who really are the odd ones out. Pale skin only made an appearance less than 8,000 years ago. For the 7 million or so years prior to that, all bipedal apes had dark skins.
