One Man Is Putting 8 Billion Lives In Danger
Who is that man? See footnote.
In the vast expanse of the known universe, the Planet Earth stands as a precious jewel teeming with life. Yet, this jewel is under siege, besieged by the very beings who call it home. The culprit? Fossil fuels. The relentless burning of coal, oil, and gas has sparked an unprecedented planetary crisis: unchecked global warming. As temperatures soar and ecosystems falter, the spectre of catastrophe looms large, putting not just millions, but 8 billion lives in jeopardy.
At the heart of this crisis lies greenhouse gases, chief among them carbon dioxide and methane. With industrial smokestacks and exhaust pipes from fossil fuel burning vehicles venting into the atmosphere we breath, industry and humanity pumps colossal volumes of these gases into the atmosphere.
The result? A thickening blanket that traps heat, sending temperatures soaring and weather patterns into disarray.
The consequences of this global experiment are dire, touching every country on the globe and every facet of every person’s life.
