Poem of Silly Politics

Or, ridiculousness personified!

In the land of suits and ties, where politicians spin their lies; a circus of folly, oh what a show, where ignorance and ego tend to grow.

They dance around in lofty halls, with policies that make us bawl; their speeches full of empty air, as common sense flees in despair.

They promise much, deliver little, like a riddle wrapped in brittle; their logic tangled, minds askew, a comedy, but it’s nothing new.

They squabble, bicker, point and blame, like children in a power game; oh, politicians, we would like to punch, with wisdom scarce, and folly delivered as in “out to lunch.”

They speak in circles, run in mazes, lost in a world of political hazes; a sitcom script with no straight line, oh, the absurdity of the political sign.

But let’s not despair, let’s have a laugh, at the absurdity of their political chaff; for in this circus, we’re all the clowns, in a world where common sense sometimes drowns.
