Really? When you say flexible, what exactly does that mean? Following are just 2 passages from the New Testament: In Mark (10:11) and Luke (16:18), Jesus condemns all divorces without exception. But in this New Testament verse, Jesus says that divorce is permissible when the wife is guilty of fornication.

But what if the husband is unfaithful? Jesus doesn't seem to care about that.

And this little dityy: "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell"

In other words, Jesus recommends that to avoid sin we cut off our hands and pluck out our eyes. This advice is given immediately after he says that anyone who looks with lust at any women commits adultery.
