Right on! I too hate the modern Halloween. When my kids were little, houses in the neighborhood would have some pumpkins on the front steps, some cobwebs and that was it. Now, the more evil looking and scarier the better formany people. I also hate clowns. To me, clowns are scary. I developed this phobia at an early age from my first circus visit. There was a clown who did scare the shit out of me.
