A great big thank you to all the Medium readers who have taken time out from busy lives to read, comment, choose to follow and clap my meanderings and ponderings. All the above are greatly appreciated.
I know I will not get rich writing on Medium or even cover my monthly wine bill but, every little bit helps.
Medium is a great place to grow writing chops and I enjoy the articles on what attracts readers and what turns them off as well as reading other writers takes on life, religion, politics and life’s little and sometimes not so little problems.
The big issue is time.
Finding time to research, time to write, time to read, time to ponder and time to chill. There is never enough time.
And, I am sure it is not a problem exclusive to me.
Most of my working life, I have worked for myself with all that entails. Building a business, running the business, marketing the business and then dealing with the never ending river of paperwork that said business generates. In my younger days, I was also a busy dad with three kids involved in school projects, sports and music and all three attending French Immersion.
