Thank you so very much Americans. Well, I should say thank you to 75,195,545 of you — and still counting, Saturday the 6th.

I must say I went to bed Tuesday night, the 3rd of November feeling downright depressed. Trump was leading in the polls and I thought: oh no, here we go again. Another four years of this moron.

I am a proud Canadian. I live in Canada; yes Canada, the best friend the USA has ever had and Trump kept dumping on us. Even claiming the tariffs he was imposing on Canadian aluminum and steel were in the interest of national security. National security! Canada? What the hell? We share the longest undefended border in the world. We are best friends. But, with a friend like Trump, who would need an enemy?

As a matter of interest, the following are some questions for our American cousins.

Where did most of the planes carrying US citizens land that were in midflight when the 9/11 bombings took place?

Canada!

Which country does the United States trade goods and services worth $725 billion in 2019 with? Nearly $2 billion per day!

Canada!

What country is the number one export market for more than 30 U.S. States?
