The Cult of Trumpism
As a non-American, I shake my head
The Trumpism cult has grown on the fertile soil of mass hysteria and targeted to the ignorant and the fearful. The cult platform is built on conspiracy theories and racism. The leader of the cult is a man of appalling ignorance; a major manipulator, devoid of scruples and moral values with no political experience, no humanness; a man completely involved in promoting himself and his family as a brand.
His message to the ill-informed is embellished and promoted by a group of soulless power-seekers, many professing to be christians who believe in the doctrine of the bible. So they profess. In actual fact, they are hypocrites. Soulless hypocrites. They believe firmly in the edict that their god gave them two hands to grab as much as they can with. In grabbing, we are talking about power and money. That is all they care about.
I look at the people at Trump rallies and I scratch my head. They are it seems, blue-collar workers for the most part. Trump is a billionaire. Or, professes to be. The fact that he has never revealed his tax returns must speak mountains, surely. Does that matter to Trump followers? Not a bit- and that’s what I don’t get.
