The Most Dangerous People On The Planet
They believe life begins after death.
The most dangerous people on the planet are not the Kim Jung Il’s, the Vladimir Putin’s and the Xi Jingping’s. They are people far more dangerous than these murderous, soulless leaders.
They are the religious extremists.
These are the people who walk among us and who really, really believe the second coming of some non-existent god will whisk all the virtuous folk off to Nirvana, Heaven, Paradise or whatever their particular brand of religion sells them on. Those left will suffer eternity in hellfire and damnation.
In the diverse landscape of religious beliefs, this concerning subset of individuals exist to fervently anticipate cataclysmic events. These events could include nuclear war or some other apocalyptic scenario. They believe one of these disasters will usher them into their heavenly reward. This dangerous ideology is not confined to a single religious tradition but can be found among various groups, each interpreting their dogma or prophecies in unique ways.
While the many religious adherents seek spiritual growth, peace, and harmony, the disturbing enthusiasm of this subgroup wishing and praying fervently for a catastrophic event for themselves and their religious zealot followers…
