The View of a 79-Year-Old White Male — Sex, Women And Men
The sexual revolution was not that revolutionary. There has always been just good old sex.

The sexual revolution was not that revolutionary. There has always been just good old sex.
Approximately 75,000 thousand years ago, the massive Toba volcano came to life in a super eruption that occurred around the site of present-day Lake Toba in Sumatra, Indonesia. The Toba catastrophe caused a global volcanic winter of six to ten years and possibly a 1,000-year-long cooling period that resulted in the human population declining to an estimated low of between 10,000 to 100,000 people. Homo sapiens almost became extinct. The world’s animals, no doubt, would think that a good thing if they had.
Since that time, the earth’s population has rebounded to an incredible 7.7 billion people that is expected to hit the 8 billion mark by November 2022. Now that is a sexual revolution!
This amazing population growth has occurred in spite of humans killing themselves off by the millions in hundreds of wars, acts of genocide, people dying due to drought, famine, earthquakes, other volcanoes, hurricanes, tornadoes, plagues, floods, and tsunamis. In the year 1350, the black plague killed off 25 million people in Europe, around a quarter of the population. And the plague came and went on a regular basis for hundreds of years killing an estimated 50 million people before it was eradicated.
Sex has been the driving force behind much of human behaviour for the past 7 million years when the first bipedal ape arrived on the scene. Over time, there have been many cults, religions, and cultures that have attempted to impose restraints on sexual behaviour between men and women. I say between men and women as any other combination does not produce offspring.
Some lunatic leaders went so far as to impose chasteness on their followers. You know where those groups ended up.
