Mary had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of a package shipped to her by FedEx. Little did she know that her experience with FedEx was about to turn into a frustrating and unbelievable odyssey.

The day of the expected delivery, Mary had taken time off work to ensure she would be home to receive her package. Morning turned into afternoon; no package! With the online tracking still showing “Out for Delivery,” Mary was hopeful that the package would soon be in her hands.

As the sun dipped below the horizon and the stars began to twinkle in the sky, Mary’s excitement transformed into concern. The tracking information hadn’t changed, and there was no sign of the FedEx truck on her street. She decided to call the FedEx customer service “HOTLINE”, only to be met with an automated voice that led her through a maze of options, none of which seemed to address her specific issue.

Hours turned into days, and the package remained in an enigmatic limbo. Mary contacted FedEx multiple times, each call (when an actual person came on the line) leading to assurances that her package would be delivered imminently. But the reality was different. It…
