There is a common saying today that "70 is the new 50." I can assure anyone who is listening that this is bullshit. I am 77 and I walk at least 10,000 steps a day, I hike in our local mountains at least twice a week and this old grey horse ain't what he used to be.
I remember what it was like to be 57. I used to run. I used to ski. My knees didn't creak and groan. My back didn't protest. I could dance all night. I didn't have glaucoma. I had a prostate. I had both testicles. Now? Forget it. I just hope I have inherited my mother's stamina and genes. At 98, she was a going concern until felled by pneumonia.
An anit-aging pill. No thanks!
