This Is My Last Article On Medium
And, I’m cancelling my subscription.
Why? For starters, I never earn enough from Medium to cover the cost of the monthly subscription and I’m reducing my monthly overheads. Secondly and more importantly, Medium is an American service and as the USA is attacking Canada, my family and friends and millions of Canadians are retaliating by cancelling subscriptions and services provided by American businesses including such services as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, etc so our dollars stay at home.
Canadians across the country are stopping the purchasing of American-made goods wherever possible and cancelling travel plans to the US. There is a growing movement by families across Canada to punish America where it hurts — in the wallet.
Will this movement cause Canadians grief? Yes, of course. But we are prepared for pain to make the following point -
CANADA IS NOT FOR SALE AND CANADIANS ARE NOT FOOLS AND PUSSYCATS! AND - WE HATE BULLIES!
