You have every right to question. As George Carlin once said, religion is the biggest scam ever perpetrated on the human race. All religions are full of liars, bigots, pedophiles, cheats, money grabbers and thieves. Every one! The true believers support dogma that was created during the bronze age. Humans then knew nothing about bacteria, germs; how the human body worked, how earthquakes, tornados and plagues were created. We humans are just a superstitious bunch of upright apes.
