Every adult living on this planet was a child once. I guess that comes as no surprise but many adults forget this fact. I get a little tired of people who disparage children. Child free this. Child free that. Give me a break.

Where would the planet be today without children?

And, what about the future of the human race without children?

I am fortunate enough to have four healthy grandchildren ages one and a half, 3, 5 and 6. Each one is a delight in their own way. Each one can be damn difficult in their own way. But overall, they are wonderfully interesting, incredibly curious and a delight to be with — most of the time.

Children are not just miniature versions of adults. They are the architects of the future, a beacon of hope, and the custodians of the future. Their presence in the world is not only necessary, but a necessity for the continuity and advancement of the human race.

First and foremost, children symbolize the embodiment of the world’s potential. They possess an unlimited curiosity, boundless imagination, and an unparalleled capacity to learn. Through their amazing lens, they explore, question, and absorb the world around them, making the way for innovation and discovery.
